Private Ceramic Parties

Katie will host your private ceramics party. Come create a special day with friends, family or co-workers.

The private party includes private use of the 3D ceramics studio, clay, individualized instruction during the party.  Also included in the price is the bisque firing, your choice of glaze (you pick at the party) which the ceramics specialist will apply for you, and the final glaze firing. 

Handbuilding: Private parties are $200 for up to 10 people and each additional participant is $15.  The project could be a mug, coaster, small vase, etc. and will take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. We are willing to discuss other projects, however there may be an adjustment in the pricing based on your requested project. 

Wheel throwing: Private parties are $160 for up to 4 people and each additional participant is $25.  Wheel throwing parties are approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. The maximum number of people per wheel throwing party is 9.  

No food or drink is permitted in the studio. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at all.

2026 Americana...Celebrating 250 Years Juried Art Show

Entry Details: Artists may enter up to (3) pieces for a $40 nonrefundable fee. 

Sales and Copyright: Sales are encouraged. A 30% commission will be charged on all works purchased. Your entry grants permission to photograph your work to use for promotional or educational purposes.

Artists awarded cash prizes grant the right for Arts Place to photograph the artist with their work. Artwork that is purchased must remain throughout the duration of the show. Artwork left 30 days after the close of the show will be considered abandoned.

Insurance: All works will be insured while on site at the center. Please provide value of artwork if not for sale
